McDonough County Breastfeeding Taskforce

The McDonough County Breastfeeding Task Force is made up of a group of professionals and lay persons who actively “promote, support and protect the woman’s right to breastfeed”. The task force meets quarterly at McDonough District Hospital. Activities are planned and implemented to meet the goals and objectives of  “ Healthy People Illinois”  and WIC rates for breastfeeding initiation (75%), 6 month duration (50%) and 12 month duration (25%)
